Informative brochure on the company’s operating health protocol
Dear visitors,
On the occasion of the emergence, spread of the new coronavirus (COVID19) and its evolution into a pandemic, we would like to inform you about the new hygiene rules and operating rules that we are implementing aiming at the protection of your health and our staff’s health. Following all necessary preventive measures we have received the «HEALTH FIRST» certification from the Greek Ministry of Tourism.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE RULES
– Transportation of our customers by applying all hygiene preventive measures (usage of mask, antiseptic products and by respecting the required social distancing)
– Transportation of our customers from the port or the airport privately, if they don’t have their own means.
– Overcrowding will be avoided upon clients’ arrival or departure.
– Information to our clients will available at any time concerning the policy of our accommodation and the action plan to be applied in case of a COVID19 incident, the existing health structures on the island, the existing first aid kit and the ability to provide the required personal protective equipment.
– Special equipment (medical kit) can be provided in case of a COVID19 incident such as gloves and disposable masks, antiseptic products, anti-bacterial cleaning wipes, apron, long-sleeved robe, laser thermometer.
– Our staff is adequately trained so that they can easily perceive a suspicious case and report it to the person in charge.
– Check in will be performed in an open space.
– Careful decontamination of the room keys.
– Extension of check-out and check-in hours between stays (check out before 11.00 am and check in after 15.00 pm). This change is mandatory to ensure that the room will be thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated, and the space will be well naturally ventilated. If it’s necessary, your luggage will be safely stored in our space until you enter the room, or until the time of your departure.
– No other person can enter the room, except from the residents.
– All money transactions will be made either electronically or intact.
RULES OF CLEANING AND PROVIDING ROOM SERVICES
– Cleaning and decontamination of the rooms according to the instructions of the National Public Health Organization of Greece.
– Special decontamination process in case of a COVID19 incident, according to the instructions of the National Public Health Organization of Greece.
– Detailed and thorough cleaning and adequate natural ventilation of the room in the time interval from the departure of the previous customer until the arrival of the next.
– Decontamination of the room before the arrival of the next customer via fogging system.
– Taking care for the proper and safe operation of the air conditioners (maintenance, cleaning – disinfection of filters).
– Proper control and maintenance of the water supply and sewerage system.
– Strict and frequent hygiene services in all public areas and especially in “high risk” objects (eg door handles etc).
– The staff shall always operate with proper and adequate personal protective equipment.
– Optional removal from the room of possible decorative objects and bedding upon request of the client.
– Optional removal from the room of multiple use objects (cards, advertisements, etc.) upon request of the client.
– Air conditioning and TV control will be placed in a disposable protective cover.
– The regular room cleaning and the change of bedding and towels will be performed every second day. The frequency of room cleaning and changing of bedding and towels can change upon customer’s request.
– Fabric surfaces will be cleaned with a steam cleaner (temperature> 70.).
– Daily opening of doors and windows for natural ventilation of the room.
– Provision of individual antiseptic gels in each room.
BEDDING AND TOWELS
– Collection and transportation of the dirty bedding and towels safely (in closed garbage bags).
– The bedding and towels cleaning process will be performed by a certified third party.
– Proper storage of our clean bedding and towels.
